what if my shop does not have the module in stock and the job must be completed by tomorrow. the unit is a viper 550esp. do I go into each door and do a 5 wire at each motor. or is there a simpier answer.

You either have to go in the driver and passenger door and get the rear doors at the relays or you can go  directly to the factory keyless remote and wire relays up to it.  You will have to do a double unlock pulse.  Do not do this unless you know what you are doing!

Personally i have done all three methods.  I would wait until you get the bypass module.  It hooks up with only 1 wire.  Data bus is a beautiful thing :)

If you do it by wiring in the doors you can not rearm the factory alarm.

tell the customer the labor charges for going to all the doors and see if his patience get better to wait for the module.
