Hello everyone!

I just had an AstroStart 2106XR installed in my Maxima.  I would have done it myself, but my wife has seen it take all weekend to get it installed, so she just said to have a local shop do it this time. Being the geek that I am, I want to get a hold of the Installation Guide for this starter since we'll be keeping this car and the AstroStart for many years to come.  I also need to look under the dash to see if all the wiring harnesses are plugged into the starter, just in case I need them in the future.

Also, I was wondering if anyone had run into an issue I have with it right now.  The Maxima has memory seats in it, but evidently they are being triggered by some other wire that isn't hooked up as an ignition wire at this point.  Basically they don't work unless you have the key in and the car 'on' and not just running on the AstroStart.  This seems pretty petty, but my wife is pregnant and it would be nice for her to be able to have these things auto-adjust for her.  Anyone have any ideas?  I'm guessing since this is a feature that isn't on many of these cars that its just not requested to have it hoooked up that often.  Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

There was probably a second accessory or thrid ignition wire that did not get hooked up or the installer did not think it was necessary to hook up this wire in order for the radio, seat functions , etc to work while remote starting the vehicle. There are some members on this forum that can help you with the installation guide but you have to be a dealer in order to access this information.
