I've got a situation here, 12volt.  Installing an alarm for my cousin, but has custom wheels on his car. He's afraid that someone might steal them quicker before the alarm will sound off.  What kind of sensor do you guys recommend? I seen mercury sensor and proximity sensors, any tips about which one to use?

Thanks,

Rob

you can use a tlt sensor.  this sensor will trigger the alarm if the vehile is raised to remove the rims.  i know that clifford makes one.

well yea what jay said but a proximity will make the alarm go off if the someone goes close to the car and stays close. (proximity) my choice.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
