Hey guys, newest member to the forums. Wondering if you guys could help me out. Two nights ago my car got broken into and my headrest and 2 tv's were stolen out of my car. I have a Viper ESP 550 professional installed by authorize dealer and somehow the alarm did not go off. I did some research on this site about mounting and adjusting the sensitivity on the shock sensor but it did little help. At first it was mounted onto a plastic piece under the dash.  So then I remounted it onto a metal piece of the frame under the dash. Still didn't do much. So now I'm thinking of adding another shock sensor. How easy is it to install another sensor and can anyone provide me details. Also which would be the best sensor to go with that is compatible with the alarm I have.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I agree...defitnely move it to a big fat wire harness...and use zip-ties ...alot easier to find a proper spot...test...then move if necessary...this is an external shock -sensor? do you  still have the owners manual? it should explain how to adjust shock-sensor?how long ago did you have it installed...maybe just go back to the shop...?
