Does it have a resistor in the key?  I thought that it would have passlock not passkey.

Easy van; the Audiovox remote starts go in really nice.

It has Passlock II.  Use one of the self-learning modules like the Audiovox AS-GM4 or DEI's 555L.  The modules where you have to adjust it yourself with DIP switches, a trimpot, and a multimeter are a huge timewaster.

You'll see where all the big ignition wires go into a plug---the Passlock wires are in here too.  I think it's in the middle row----- the yellow resistance wire is 3 pins in from the side, and the ORANGE / black Passlock ground is 3 pins in from the other side.

Finding the tach will take a couple of minutes.  There are two big harnesses coming from the VCM; open up the lower one.  There are several white wires in there.  You can either test each one with your meter, or hook up the Prestige's green tach wire to one after another until the "tach programming" procedure works properly.

What do you mean by "relays or single wire"?  Are you talking about door locks?  The van is just plain ol' positive trigger---- prestige green goes to GM light blue--- prestige red goes to GM white.
