Was wandering if anyone could help me with programming instructions for my car alarm?  I have a 95' Ford GT Mustang and the alarm is an aftermarket alarm.  I was having problems with the original transmitter which is called a pursuit and the FCC ID is ELVAT5B.  I had to purchase a new version which is a FCC ID is ELVAT8C.  The Tech line said that this would work, but I need to get instructions for programming it.  Can anyone provide the instructions for programming this alarm?  I would appreciate that!

The model number on the back of the transmitter is PROOE2 and the part number on the invoice is PRO92BT.  These are the only numbers besides the FCC #'s.  I hope this helps.  Again, thank you

you can try and call jeff @    www.remotesunlimited.com he has coding instructions for almost every system out there including factory systems.

The above link is a owner's manual for the PRO92BTINT remote but you can try the same procedure as outlined in the pdf. file

Pursuit is made by Audiovox....programming is fairly simple.

Start with the key OFF, and the valet switch OFF.

Turn key to Run.  Flip the valet switch up and down three times---ON/OFF ON/OFF ON/OFF.  Siren chirps once.  You're now about to programm channel one.

Press button 1 on the remote.  The siren makes one long chirp.  Channel one is now programmed.

Flip the valet switch once; ON/OFF.  The siren makes two chirps; you're about to programm channel two.

Press button 2 on the remote.  The siren makes one long chirp.  Channel two is now programmed.

(If you have more buttons on the remote, continue in this fashion until they're all programmed.)

Turn the key off.  The siren makes some short chirps, and then a long one.  You're all done!
