This is getting quite frustrating. My gf's toyota has an APS996a installed and it randomly goes off but at night, mostly around 7am - 11pm. Nope no one is trying to steal it but what the heck can cause it to just go off like that. I already disabled the hood pin thinking that is freaking out.
Anyone have any ideas?

look at the led and find out how many times it blinks and what that means. my guess it be the shock senosr. 1 flahs is zone 1 and 2 flash is zone 2 and 3 flash is zone 3. what those means i forget

yeah you need to find out what zone is being triggered. if its shock adjust it a little.  it could be an animal. pet cat for example. they like to jump on bonnets at night when its cold out for the heat..

anyways if it is shock just adjust it down a little.
