I am looking for information regarding the 9 pin P1 harness. I have to repin one. I have all the information as far as wiring colors and what there for but I do have a simple question for someone(I hope) I know brown is the centre pin. I also know red is on the bottom and green on the top. Also up one side is Blk, RED / Blk, Orange. Also up the other side is Purple, White, Blue. Now my question is: I am presuming Red is on the bottom(Closest to the P2 harness) and green the opposite end. Can anyone verify this for me? Any info would be appreciated.

It is a command start 200 series car starter.

The same people that make PolarStart make CommandStart so the contact info I found is in this post. I was unable to find an install manual as you have to be a Dealer to access the tech info on that site.

Yes, you have the right configuration. From what you described, you are looking at the harness with the clips to each side that lock the harness to the CPU.

Hi Jeff,

After your reply I am not sure I have the correct wiring. The two clips you are talking about are the ends where I have in the centre my red wire(main power) and on the other end the green(ground)

It depends on how your are looking at the plug. I have several plugs here int he shop for the CS units and from what you described, it is exactly the way it should be.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your info. I guess the reason I was questioning my wiring was because when I plug in the 9 pin module the ignition starts turning over without doing a thing with the remote. The vehicle doesn't start but the motor is turning over. Do you have any ideas as far as what I should be checking for?

What vehicle isthis going into ? Did you program the tach & also if your car has an Immobilizer, you have to bypass this as well.

This vehicle is a 98 Jimmy. It had a command start previously in it that quit working. So there all ready was a bypass installed.
