a lot of new commers dont know a few things this is a place that people can learn as well as the best learning tool is in the field doign an actual car . when you good no wire diagrams will be needed but they will always be available.

A QUESTION FROM SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT KNOW.

How do i know the difference between a ignition wire and an accessory wire?

answer the ignition wire shows 12 volts with the key only and does not stop showing 12 volts pos when car is being started or engine is being cranked....

for those who know stuff and want to share for those who dont  know start or add on to this.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

another thing.

Question from someone that does not know.

what is a way to find the tach wire in a car.?

answer . in most cars you can tapp off of an injector wire now what you are looking for is . take two injectors if there is a similar wire than what you do is tapp off  the opposite that similar wire is like a ground wire and the other wire changes from injector to injector so take a dmm and test the wire that does not have wire simularity . and you have now found a good tach if not take another injector and do the same.  some tach wires can be straonger than others.  a good tester for tach wires is a cheep altenator tester from radio shack it works good and it costs about five dollars. and the lights on tester will eluminate brighter or change upon engine rev.
