Ok, I have a question I would like to take out this 791XV and install this Galaxy 5000RS2W unit.  Now, I would like to know how hard this is going to be?  I had a shop install my Viper and all they did was hook up the lock/unlock, trunk pop, the trunk and hood sensors, door triggers and shock trigger.  If, anybody could give me some help it would be great.  I know how to use a VOM and I just don't have the money right now to get it installed by somebody and the unit I am getting is going to be a gift.  Oh, the Galaxy will also be remote start for the manual tranny.

Thanks

Why go from a Viper to a Galaxy ? The Viper system is a remote start unit as well and IMO is a better system than the Galaxy system for security. Regardless, all you need to do is go to the last 2 pages here and wire in the Galaxy system to the appropriate wires on the wiring diagram from the Viper system.

Well in that case what do I need for the turbo timer and remote start to work on my SRT-4?  Somebody told me to rig some kind of mercury switch and crap and I don't want to do that.  I just want it to start with the right stuff.  Galaxy has a module I will have to use and I want to install an alarm myself since I do stereo installs and have been asked if I do alarms and I don't so, I need to learn and what better way then on my own ride, right.

Thanks.
