Does a 2004 Altima need a double unlock pulse?? If so, how can I obtain a double pulse from an alarm with only a single pulse output??

Because some wiring diagrams I've seen say that if it has a factory alarm then it is double pulse.

NISSAN, ALTIMA, 2004, Power Unlock
These wires are only available on vehicles with left front only power window anti-pinch system. On vehicles with left AND right front power window anti-pinch system, use the factory alarm arm and disarm wires for door locks.

This is what I found on this site under vehicle wiring off to the left of the screen. Power Lock:
   PINK (-)
PIN # AT BCM NEAR FUSE BOX
Power Unlock:
   BROWN (-)
PIN # AT BCM NEAR FUSE BOX *****
. ***** Unlock Requires Double Pulse. See Note #231. Also See Note #201 Negative Trigger Door Locks.
Is this info wrong?? Because I got a wiring diagram from somewhere else and it says nothing about double pulse or about the power windows that profuse mentioned. Now I'm confused2004 Altima unlock -- posted image.

Or is it that a 2004 does NOT require a double pulse but a 2005 does?? Can someone clarify this?

1. It definitely needs a double pulse if it has a factory alarm.
If your alarm does not offer this feature, there are double-pulse generators that are probably still available, but it would have been cheaper to buy the right alarm the first time.
2. If there's no factory alarm, the wires are available right at the BCM, and you test them by operating the rocker switch on the door panel, and you do not need a double pulse.
