After reading this and many other forums I can't decide which system to buy. I'm looking for a remote start, two way paging alarm system for my 2006 mustang.  Some systems look like they should be sold next to the fake rolex's downtown.  I hear good and bad about many different systems but I think that may be brand loyalty.  As for where to buy I want somplace that will offer tech support and know what else I will need to get for a complete install.  I would like to buy the transponder bypass and complete system from one place.  If you also let me know which ones to stay clear of, the flashy toys with the gameboy looking remotes.

Dei and Audiovox both make good LCD 2-way alarm/remote start units. I personally deal with the audiovox 996a and the DEI 564t, and between the 2 i would recommend the audiovox, ive had alot of problems with remotes going bad on the dei, but maybe thats just a coincidence. the one thing i do like about the audiovox units is that the generally install with less of a mess, but thats just my personal preference. a good rule of thumb is the good ol' "you get what you pay for". As far as where to go, make sure whoever you choose stands behind their product and their labor, if they dont offer lifetime labor....stay away. and theres no reason why you shouldnt be able to find a place that stocks both the units and bypass kits your going to need.
Good luck!
