98 lincoln navigator steering wheel control

i installed a new radio in a friends ford and he as the sterring wheel heater contols and it all goes through the factory radio is there any way to get them to work with a aftermarket radio i know that pac as the pwi-x but i dont know if that will work for ford all i can find about it that will will work on some gm
need any help

Other than putting the IR "EYE" near the radio:
The PESWIX woks great for the Navigator

Your referring to the SWI-XPAC? Yes it is compatible with the lincoln navigator www.pac-audio.com

EDIT: Some aftermarket radios have plugs in the back for steering whell controlls PAC makes factory adapters for these as well. You wont need the IR-BLaster then

i think that you might be think the wrong thing i know that i can get the radio streeing wheel controls to work   but how about the heater steering wheel controls that is also there that was the frist thing that he found out
