yes i use and carry astra/galaxy alarm very pleased with them. You can buy a program wizard that plugs in a usb port on your PC which makes programming before you install the alarm simple then all you have to do is program the tach. have done many of them and have had no come backs! this is coming from a long time DEI installer.

My only experience with it is bench testing it so far, so I can't comment on reliability, but it seems decent in construction and features. On another thread, it was indicated there are problems with the two way remotes.
The one I got has only one way remotes, so hopefully they'll be reliable.
Take any documentation you read about it with a grain of salt though, whether it's online or the included manuals. The online manual says it has manual tranny capability, but the one I received is automatic only. The included manual makes no mention of the manual trans feature, so they apparently change things on the fly without bothering too much with documentation updates.
Same thing with the Astra 777 I have, documentation had a erroneous information about its configuration.

we tried it for a year too, but our shop replaced so many remotes and the 2 ways remotes are complete jumk.  We replaced every single one we ever sold.  Get what u pay for.  We carry Autopage and Compustar exclusively now.  We do not do any inexpensive RS or alarms after our Scytek experience.
