528t to a window module

I received the following advice on hooking my 528t to a window module.

30 - to window module trigger

All the window module needs is a 500mA signal for it to activate (must be continuous - hence the use of the timer)

Why would I send the module ground (30 and 87) when the 528 timer is activated?

shouldnt I be sending the window module some sort of + signal?

It receives activation from a pulse generated when locking the door.  (factory remote entry)

I found the right wire to do this.  Apparently the window module needs a steady pulse to roll down the windows.  Do most window modules only need activation and then they begin to roll the windows up even though the signal goes away?

What window controller are you using first? and as for wiring of the pulse timer, is the trigger wire that you want to use creating a - or + pulse?

I believe it is giving a + signal.  But when i lock the doors the pulse timer clicks, so i assume that it is working.

The window module is kinda a no-name brand.  How should i set it up so that i can bench test it?

Should be able to hook up power and ground to their respective wires and then take the activation wires touch them to what they need to see to activate then meter the output wires for proper voltages.  It may not work since some window controllers need to see some form of current draw to work.  I've tried bench testing DEI's 530t without success.  Best way to test is going to be hook up the output lines in the car.  Then once those are in give it power and ground and same as before just touch the activation wires to whatever they need to see.  Hope it helps good luck.
