Every person I ask about hooking up the defroster ouput on dei remote starts, has no idea how to do so.  It connects to the status output from the alarm or remote start, but how does it connect to the actual defroster button?  On the brain it would be the blue/white wire (same wire that I used for the universal bypass module with the key inside right)?  Also I guess it would require a relay, so what would be the correct diagram for it.  Thanks for the help!

Every car is different. You usually have to go to the switch and start testing wires. Then duplicate what the switch does. Most the time it will require a (-) pulse. Sometimes it will require (-) to be latched on (constant ground). That is why you can program the blue/white to be either pulsed or latched. Some car require a (+) trigger. On those cars you would need to add a relay. When testing, keep in mind most switches will have a wire that changes to (+) when you turn the defrost on. Sometimes that is just the wire that lights up the light in the switch. If you trigger this wire, the defrost doesn't actually turn on. Usually when you trigger the right wire you will hear a relay under the dash click on.
