my friend has a 2002 acura rsx with fatory alarm. we are adding a 4300k hid kit to his car and want to bypass the alarm feature that makes the headlights flash.
i thought about using a dei 528 timer and setting it to the full 90 seconds. that way if the alarm goes off they will just stay on for 90 seconds. and if he accidently bumps it they will stay on and not harm the bulbs. or is there a wire i can just simply snip to stop the headlights from flashing?
thanks for your help, ive got alot of valuble info off this site.

now when i hear my friend describe how his lights flash. it seems like its only if he tries to open the car when hes on the inside while its locked or when he presses the panic button. im not sure. im gonna to check it out later today on his car. hes bad at describing things to me.
but i will certainly look into it. thanks once again
