I've worn out the search feature so please forgive my naiveness. Alarms have come a long way since the old late 80's postive/negative shock sensing boxes that would just sense a change in voltage and trigger the alarm.
I'm installing a Commando RS-560 on a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. I've got the alarm, siren, lights all working. The remote start is starting to aggravate me.
I've found an old helpful post from 2002: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=6851&KW=2000+dodge+1500
(1)I need to know where to find these wires? They seemed to match up with the wires that come from right under where the key goes in but its still not working.
(2)Do I have to use the tach/voltage wires and all that or is that not required? If so, where are they and what colors?
(3)I was looking at their window-up modules and was wondering if I could get 2 sets of those. 1 to roll the windows up and another to roll the windows down, say if I were to hit the trunk release button... since I don't have a use for the trunk release?
(4)I don't have a "transponder immobilizer system" right? My basis this is because I am using just a regular old copied key from Home Depot. Or am I misunderstanding the term?

1) Here's what you need for question one. Yes you need the tach wire hooked up to let the starter know when the car is actually running. Yes, you can use window mods on the trunk button. No, there is no bypass on this truck...
