I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado and am wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for the door locks that would be helpful in installing the RS1300E Bulldog system. The sytem works fine I just haven't installed the locking application yet and am confused with the website help and forget the 1-800 number you never get through.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

If I only had not crossed them two wires :(

Hey there, did a silverado about a week ago. unless your truck is a base model the locks are class 2 locks which require you to go into each door with 2 relays to configure. the easiest way to do it is to use a bypass module such as the gm data all module, which will take care of the passlock anti theft system as well as the door locks with one connection to the vehicles data line.

it's a seperate module used to interface the remote starts with the vehicle. what method did you use to bypass the passlock 2 anti theft system. the module will then allow you to operate the trucks power locks with your remote start transmitter.  If your curious check out some modules at   bypasskits.com

I used a model 791p universal bypass module and it works just fine. I'm more interested in the wiring colors for the doors and the way that they need to be hooked up. I bought 4 NAPA # ar-276's from the auto parts store and it just seems to me there should be a way to avoid putting 2 relays in each door.

Here's a question, when I get in my truck a shift out of park the locks will lock then when I shift back to parl they unlock. Couldn't I interconnect with that switch from the remote lock/unlock output?

Just a theory.

If the vehicle is a base model you can find the lock and unlock wires lt.blue and white at the bcm, under the drivers side dash. if it is not a base model the locks are controlled by the computer, and connections must be made in each door at the switch module. As  this can be time consuming its much easier to use a data bus module.
