Has anyone installed a keyless entry on this vehicle?I have already done the alarm but couldnt get keyless to work. This vehicle is a Japanese import, a right hand drive 4 wheel drive diesel .It has a door lock switch on the drivers door and i got blue/red(lock) and blue/black (unlock)wires at the door switch. It seemed like a 5 wire reversal rest at ground but wouldnt work even after i used a door lock module. It does not have central door locking or i would have used an actuator in the drivers door.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.Thanks.

cut the wires you think are lock and unlock and attach your lock and unlock wires the switch side.

alot of japanese cars you have to add an actuator..
i have seen before on systems with neg locking. where you can't actually tap into the ocking wires you have to cut them and sent the neg's direct to the switch/actuator.
do you ot know wether the car has an actuator in teh drivers door
