This is my first post! YAY :) Anyhow......I purchased a pyle watchdog PWD103 keyless entry system. And I am now looking at all these wires and the diagrams in the instruction manual and I am not as confident as I would like with how to do this.  Really the only feature I want is the keyless entry, there are a few other features such as: flashing parking lights, starter defeat, illuminated entry, trunk/hatch release, passive immobilze feature, honk horn output, and remote panic feature.  I guess my first question is:  Am I making this harder than what it is? There are many notes in the installation manual that say only a professional should install this. I am a professional, Just not an electrical professional :).

Unless someone tells me that this is a difficult task I would like to try it. I was hoping someone could more or less walk me through this...

I have looked at the diagrams on this site (BTW This Site Is Awesome!) and I think that my car (1996 Ford Controu) is a single wire (-) system.  In the installation manual for the keyless system it shows that for that kind of system the blue/black wire should be connected to the cars (-) Door Lock wire, and the brown black wire is connected to the cars (-) Door Unlock wire.

In the diagram for my car on this site it says the lock is the WHITE/ green wire Driver's Kick Panel Positive Trigger .

The diagram says the unlock is the YELLOW /GREEN wire Also at Keyless Module behind Glove Compartment.

So I would just need to make thos connections listed above and then ground and supply power to the keyless module?

Anyone who has done this installation? Maybe have some tips you could help me with? Is there any reason why I shouldn't just install the Unlock/Lock feature of this keyless system?

follow that diagram. not familiar with your watchdog keyless, but the manual should tell you how to hook upto positive trigger locks. don't know if your new module has built in relays, negative trigger only, etc. be sure to always test with a digital multimeter before hooking up wires
