Kids got me the Avital 4000XL from Best  Buy and I'm wondering exactly what I need for the remote locks to work with the remote. Browsing through the forum questions it would appear that I need additional parts? BB sold them a Passlock interface module with the unit. I've read something about using two relays? 451M?

A 451M is just two relays in one module, designed to work with DEI systems. You'll need either the 451M or the relays because your locks require a positive trigger and the 4000 has only negative outputs. If you really want the keyless entry, see if you can exchange it for a Viper 160XV; it includes the 451M and the keyless entry labor charge.
