Greetings,

Year: 2005

Make: Ford

Model: F350 Diesel.

I just installed my remote start and have a couple of questions that maybe someone could help me with.

1.  How to you wire a relay for a second accesory wire?

2.  Is it possible to have the door locks operate like they did on the factory Key Fob.  Press once, unlocks the driver, press twice unlocks all the doors, horn chirp on lock.  If this involves a relay, can some explain how to wire?  (Obvious I am not sure how a relay works, even though I have googled it and have seen many diagrams I am not sure how that intefaces with the DEI harness)  Currently all doors unlock or lock when the button is pushed or when I start the truck, they lock and when I shut off the truck they unlock automatically with the DEI 561R.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

1. Use the Orange (-200ma second accessory turn on)to turn on a relay like:
Pin 85 Orange from 561R
Pin 86 Constant fused +12V
Pin 30 Constant fused +12V
Pin 87 +12V Output to second Acc
2. You cannot do driver's door priority unlocking with the 561R, because you do not have seperate lock and unlock output buttons. You can, however do it by using the trunk output (RED / white -200ma channel 2 output)to control either the driver's door, or the all door unlock. Whichever you would prefer. The downside to this method is you have to hold the trunk button for 2 seconds before it will engage.
