Are these good systems?  Anyone have any words of wisdom they might wish to impart on me.  I was asked by a friend of mine if I could install 2 of them for him.  I told him I wanted to make sure it was a worth while system before I gave him an answer since I don't want to install them if they're just going to fail down the line.  Any questions, coments, or remarks would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to say but they are the worst piece of @#$% you can buy. I would rather install a bulldog unit before installing one of those things.

I did one like two years ago and the brake wire only worked once. And a week later a remote stopped working, the second remote gave up a month after that. Also when they work they are not even in sync with each other, if you arm the system with one remote that it will show the system armed on it but the other will show the system off.

Also they don't have a tach or a voltage sensing feature for the remote start, it uses a wire that must see 12v when the engine is running and 0v when the engine if off other wise the unit keeps on cranking the  engine.

Thanks for the response.  Anyone else have any comments?  Since I'm probably just going to show my buddy this thread.

If you are looking for more comments to convince your buddy to stay away from it, then I will gladly jump on board. I have only had experience with one of these pieces, and once was way more than enough. Had to work on the car 3 times, once to install the Nitro, once to remove it, and once to put in a DEI piece. If anyone in the future asks for me to put one in, I will be declining.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
