I'm trying to install a DEI Valet 561r remote start/keyless entry in my 2000 RAV4.  I found a bunch of wiring and other info but I can't seem to find any of the correct wires.  I removed the driver's kick panel and am just completely lost.  Can anyone point me in the right direction or post a picture or two?  I've done this before on other cars but am getting nowhere with this RAV4 - where are the right wires?

Thanks, Josh.  I found that info, but I just can't find any of the wires!  Where exactly is the ignition harness?  I took the left panel off and see bunches of wires, but none seem to be the right ones.  I don't see any wires at the steering column either.  And where is the integration relay?  This just can't be that hard.  Has anyone done this in a 2000 RAV4 before?  Or any 1996-2000 - I think they're the same.

The ignition harness?   It's down the column....after the key. It runs across to the fuse box.

It's not that hard....take the bottom of the dash down...it's all there!

Ah - maybe that's my problem - I took off the kick panel but didn't remove the bottom of the dash.  I took out a couple of screws but the panel didn't move so I didn't force it.  I can try again if it's all under there.  Any trick to getting that piece off?
