I have a Viper 791xv. The Alarm is completely in stalled and does function, to finish the installation all I need to do is hook up the remote start.

My question is there are two wires from the ignition the look black and white, one is more black than more white, the other is more white with less black. Which one should be used?

Also right now the blue LED does not stop blinking even when the car is on, I am thinking this is going to happen since the the remote start wires have yet to be hooked up, am I right?

Last but not least once everything is installed, do I need to program any certain things for example the remote start or will all the defaults be fine for now? Basically once alll the wires are hooked up can I just hit the * button and It will start?

Thank you your help is greatly appreciated!

One is BLACK/ white, that's the starter sire. The other is WHITE/ black, that's the accessory wire. Yes, you need to hook up the satolite relay so it will see ignition, then the LED will function correctly. You will need to program the tach rate for the remote start to work, did you hook up the tach wire?
