i just got my matrix rs 3 alarm installed. i wanted to test it out so i armed the alarm, i opened the door with the key so the alarm would sound, i got in and tried to start the car with the key and it started? the car started with the alarm going off, i dont think this is suppoused to happen. is there a problem with the install? or is there something that i can fix myself? please help! thanks alot!

sounds like your starter kill relay is not installed properly..........bring it back to where you had it put in and have them fix the problem

Normally Closed Starter Kill Relay

The link above is what your starter disable relay is supposed to look like. Make sure that the starter wire has been cut in half and that it is on the proper pins of the relay.
