I know that it is possable to install a stand alone starter in these cars and still retain the oem keyless functions I just cannot remember which wire to interupt and which versions of the car this works on. Any help would be cool.

Any stand alone remote starter will work on the vehicle as long as it can arm/diarm the OEM system before it remote starts the vehicle. We use the Compustar 1W-SH-PRO for this vehicle and program the system to unlock before remote start and lock after remote start to bypass the OEM security.
