Hey guys, I have just one simple question.  Is the 2005 Galant wiring the same as the 2006?  If not, can someone help with the info?  By the way, I will start taking pictures of all the wiring of each car that I will be working on to help others who either want to install a remote start or alarm system or both which is in my case.  For this system I will be using a Valet 2 way alarm combo and will use a PATS.MITSUBISHI.2(NO KEY) bypass made by Fortin.  I will post all interesting info that I come across on and will upload the pics on the download section.

05 thru 07 are the same. Here are a couple things for ya. To tilt the sunroof. GRN/ORANGE 1 second negative pulse.

To open the sunroof GREEN/ RED at the switch, 1 second pulse. To close the sunroof from the OPEN POSISTION ONLY. GREEN/ YELLOW. Needs a 1 min. latched pulse. All of the sunroof wires are at the switch.

To trigger the rear defroster. WHITE/ BLACK at the black connector in the middle of the fuse box. Needs a latched pulse negative.

Thanks for the help KartuneMan but I just finished checking all the wiring on the vehicle before you poster and yes you are right sir, its the same exact wiring.  I will take pics shortly(charging camera).  This vehicle is a basic Galant.(no sunroof).  Thanks for the help and I will add that to my notes.

Update

https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/downloads.asp?srch=all&term=galant

Hopefully it works, the download is a word document but has pics.  It was a basic install and has MOST wiring that will help many.  KartuneMan mentioned that the 05-07 are the same.  This link is for an 06 but should work for the 05's-07's.
