I installed a DEI 530t to give me one touch windows, and it works great off the switches, but whenever I use the orange or RED / white wire (so u can send the windows up when you arm the alarm) one window goes up and the other goes down! How can I fix this? How come it works fine on the switches and messed up with this?

Ground the orange wire...whatever window goes down you messed up. You switched the UP and DOWN wires. You have the SWITCH and MOTOR side correct. You will need to switch the 4 wires going the wrong window.

I'm not quite sure what you meen? It's the passenger side that goes down when it should go up. What wires do I need to change? I have cut the wires in the driver's door like the driver's switch side was the "SWITCH" side.

You reversed the UP and DOWN wires. Switch the passenger side MOTOR DOWN with the MOTOR UP Wire. Switch the passenger side SWITCH UP wire with the SWITCH DOWN wire.

that did it! Thank you very much, you've made my day :-)
Now if you're willing I have another question:
How do I figure out what the negative ground wire is on my factory alarm? I have a voltmeter...

Set alrm to 20vdc. Place red lead on constant 12v+. Arm alarm. one wire should give you a reading and stay whilst alarm is on. this is your armed output. Currently Orange on DEI product; light green on earlier (G4) Clifford.
