About a month ago I installed Avistart 3200 keyless entry/remote start into two '02 Honda Civics. Everything was easy... I didn't have to use relays/diodes/transistors or any of that other stuff I don't know how to do.
I just got a wiring diagram and wired everything like it said and they work flawlessly on the Honda Civic.
I recently acquired three (3) Valet 552t keyless entry/remote start packages. Two people said they would pay $100 for the purchase and installation of the 552t so far. One is a '99 Ford F-150 Limited, the other person has a '00 Dodge Durango.
My question: will the F150 and Durango be as easy to install as the Civics?

The Ford will require a bypass module for the PATS system & if this is only a remote starter installation, then just make sure you power up all the accessory wires for the HVAC system. Non-keyless versions are 5 wire located in the drivers door harness & keyless versions are negative trigger.

The Dodge will be easy but just the same make sure you power up all secondary IGN & ACC wires. If the key has a grey head on it, you have to bypass the Immobilizer system on the Durango. Must use relays for single wire locking system and set up for (-) negative trigger. Place a 647 ohm resistor to the lt. GREEN/ orange for arm/lock, and a 1562 ohm resistor on the same wire for disarm/unlock. Unlock requires a double pulse.

the 2000 did not have a transponder key but if it has a 4.7l engine make sure to power up the GREEN/ red at ign switch or you will get a check engine light. it also is an ignition so all the way thru start it will need to be powered.
