no power locks w dei 456g ?

Hi, I have installed a viper 1002 and dei 456g module in a 2005 gmc sierra and I can't get the locks to work. There are 2 diff. plugs with violet wires at the OBD ?. I have tried each one, but I only pushed the wire into the obd connector to try each one. Could this be my problem ? I know you should connect it within 6" of the connector, but was afraid to solder it in until I know its the right wire. Are both theses violet wires buss data ? I followed the instuctions as stated and grounded the blue wire and made all connections prior to plugging the unit in, since I do not have remote start I assume if it cycled the door locks like it should have, I would then just leave it unhooked ? Thanks for any help.

Thanks you very much Big Dog, I realized this morning that I was at the BCM instead of the OBD II ? I feel so stupid, and I did not have the violet from the alarm locks grounded. Everything works great. The only thing I dont like is that it honks the horn when I set the alarm, is there a way to shut this off ? Thanks

Your truck have steering wheel controls? You can shut off the horn honk there.
