Hello everyone,

New to the forum, and i was wondering if anyone could offer some help to me.

I have a Turn on pop coming from both my tweeters in my vehicle. i can't seem to find the exact source of the problem so i've decided to try something else.

I want to delay the tweeters by essentially delaying the (-ve) terminal of each of the speakers.

I know using a pair of relays will do this i just dont know how. i've read about using caps to delay it??.

I'm looking for about a 3-4 second delay of the -ve contact of the tweeters so that the pop wont be audiable from the tweeters. essentially the pop will still be there, just the tweeters will come on after it has been made.

Any help will be appreciated.

thanks

I think you should address this issue a different way. If you are using an amplifier for your tweeters and you delay the tweeter amplifier turn on then will the tweeters pop? If they don't pop then you can use a PAC-TR7.
Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.
