k i have a weird one
i'm trying to wiring a 2 wire actuator to a cigarette lighter
the objective
when i stick in a cell phone charger or any other device into the cigarette lighter it makes the actuator open then when i remove the cell phone charger or any other device out of the cigarette lighter it closes the actuator... is this possible and does anyone have a wiring diagram to help
please and thanks in advance
i can use a TR7 as well but i don't know how to wire it up if i need it.

Does the actuator have limit switches?

This should work for you You will have to cut a slot in the outer part of your lighter to allow the lever of the above switch. When the charger is plugged in, it will depress the lever on the switch, this will trigger the relays, Door will open. You must use the Common and the normally open contacts on the switch, I have no idea of the location of these 2 terminals. It may or may not be as I drew it.

is there a way to do it without adding the spdt lever switch ?
if i took apart the cigarette lighter and rewired it ???

If you can figure out a way to make the 2 wires going to the switch connect to each other when a device is plugged into the lighter, then I guess the switch is not needed.
