I have a '96 chrysler lx...

last week the turn signal fuse blew.... i replaced it...

but NOW my left (left only) turn signal will blink 3-6 times max before it goes out... it's not blowing the fuse ~ it just stops lighting up (you can still hear it click tho as if....) then next time i use it ~ sometimes it won't work at all (just the clicking) and other times i get my 3-6 blinks...
help?? anyone????

i'm not your average idiot, oh no, my idiocy is WAY beyond average!

I would varify that the 552 / 537 flasher is not in fact defective. Simply pull it out and buy another one at the parts store, only $4-5.00 USD.
If it does not cure your problem after you install it, simply return the item for a refund.
Then you may continue on the problem solving...
