Ok, here's the plan

I have a 99 chevy silverado.  It has fourteen light housings (headlights, daytime lights, taillights, etc..)   I plan to install 7 pairs of varad headlight flashers, one light in each housing.  OK, I'm going to use the latched aux output of alarm to run a relay to turn them all on.  The problem is I'm pretty sure they are all gonna flash at the same time.  Does anybody know a way to make them flash separately?

Here's what I was thinking:

Each pair of lights has it's own flashing module.  I was planning on running the 12v output of relay to all modules.  Is there something that can be wired inline from relay to module that will delay the module turning on?  If each module turned on at  different time then the lights would flash differently, right?

I don't mind if the lights flash at the same speed just not at the same time.  I hope this wasn't too confusing.  Any suggestions please?

Hey Shaun,

I think that you may save time and hassel going here and picking up some strobes that you will enjoy greatly. http://http://www.galls.com/service/techsupport.jsp It's the real deal and when I say the real deal I mean the actual equipment the Law Enforcement agencies use. headlight flashers -- posted image.-FOR OFFROAD USE ONLY!headlight flashers -- posted image. They have anything that they have in there. Once you order if you do they will ask if it is for an agency, volunteer, or personal use, unless otherwise you will chose personal use. They can also send you a catalog free of charge. Have fun and hope this helps.

If you had/have electronics knowledge, you could wire a 555 timer or two into a circuit to help you accomplish your goal...just an idea. headlight flashers -- posted image.

just install them normally. each pair will flash together but i doubt all 7 pairs will flash at the same time try hooking them up to a power supply all at once and see how they flash before you go crazy rewiring everything
