Did you have power door locks, or did you add actuators?

I added 2 actuators and 2 relays (to make them work) to my car and alarm.  I had to disconnect the battery cable once, and when I put it back....got a large spark, and my door locks would only unlock.  It turned out I killed one of my relays ( I guess with the spark).  Replaced the one relay, and solved the problemo.
