recently i went to the junk yard and purchased two reverse polarity door lock actuators. I am not using an alarm system in the vehicle I am wanting to use them in my question is do I need to use relays or not?

Are they going to replace current locks or are you adding them? If you are adding them then you need relays regardless of what is controlling them.
