I am changing alarms in my car soon.  I have a 2000 Mitsu Eclipse with factory keyless/alarm and currently have installed a Aladdin 2000 alarm.

On the stock keyless there is the feature that allows you to unlock on the first press just he drivers side door then the second press unlocks the passenger side.

After I installed the aladdin 2000 i lost the feature.  I know to get this to work requires some relays and stuff.

I'd liek to get an understanding on what I need to do before installing this new alarm

BTW the new alarm i got is the Aladdin 2002, now called the Lynx from PME.  its pretty sharp!!!!!

If the Mitsu keyless unit uses 2 separate wires for the unlock pulses, your set. If not, locate the drivers doorlock unlock motor wire. Dark GREEN/ Red in a black 32 pin plug in the drivers kick panel. Cut the wire and use a relay to trigger.
