I have a HU from a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue that I am putting into another car.  I have been sucessful in figuring out all the wires I need with the exception of the steering wheel mounted controls (Vol, Prog/seek)  There are 4 wire from the steering wheel buttons, but the colors do not match any wires on the plug to the HU.  I guess the most help would be and accurate pin-out for the HU harness.  If it matters, the car that the HU came from had a Bose system in it.  The HU doesn't "say" Bose on it.  Thanks in advance for any help.  -Keith

what is the other car you are putting it in?

Did you remove the steering wheel from the Intrigue?  Most steering wheel controls are voltage based - I would be surprised if you could simply wire them up in another vehicle and get them to work.

I removed the buttons from the Intrigue.  I managed to figure out what wire controls the "program" function but I haven't figured the others yet.  Do you know if there is a control unit of some kind or would the car's "computer" be involved?  ...thanks for the response.
