Does the vehicle have a factory subwoofer?

yes it does, but when i tried to hook it to my sub with out my amp it sounded bad

You need to purchase a Pac-audio.com SNI-35. This is a line out converter for high power systems. How many wires are going to the factory sub?

You can purchase it at your local stereo shop, most shops probably do not stock the 35, it is not as sought out as the SNI-15.
