Hello, I have a Alarm installed on the 2002 GMC Sierra which seems to be the same for a 2001. The Door Locks are connected to the Alarm but the Door Lock Fuse seems to keep going out. The fuse has been changed to a 5 amp from a 3 amp to seed if it would work but it does not help. Does anyone know a solution for this? Thanks.

what color wires did you tie the alarm into, and what location did you get them from? also, what kind of alarm is this?

I'll get my crystal ball out and tell you it's a Zenesis alarm. 3amp fuse would only be feeding a processor, not the actual locks. Without any working knowledge of the vehicle, I would suspect a faulty solenoid or a trapped wire in the door return. I wouldn't blame the alarm.
