wire that power ignition system

HY! i have one problem! i want to put a flamethowers on mitsubishi 3000gt twin turbo (1994),motor is 6G72 3.0L V6 DOHC 24 VALVE i have a intstructions and i dont understand them they are here:. Now you will want to find the wire/s that send 12 volts to your engines coil/ ignition system. This will take some testing using a 12 volt light tester. Your engines distributor will have an external or internal coil. Call you local auto parts store and ask them to look up you cars specs with regards to its coil system( you can also contact any aftermarket ignition parts company like msd, accel etc. They can sometimes even fax you or tell you the exact wire you are looking for on your engine). Once you find out what you have it will be easier to narrow down the wire/s. Locate your external coil if you have one and begin testing each wire for 12 volts when the key is on. If you have an internal coil on your distributor it will take a little more foot work. The distributor will have an electrical plug on it with several wires. You will need to test each wire to determine which one feeds the internal coil. Your objective is to find the 12 volt wire/s that power your engines ignition system. You will be better off using wire I am an idiot suggested. The 3000GT doesn't have a distributor, it has a wasted spark system with 3 coils.

do you maybe know where is that wire,?i have located one under the Steering Wheel but it isn't correct wire,that wire shoot down all electronic,i need wire which power's only ignition coils,i must cut that wire and put a switch on it!

Aren't you merely going to change over the existing coils? Isn't the problem solved? (What colour are the wires currently going to the coils?) If the new coils blow the existing system due to compatibility problems, you can just replace the old coils after replacing the system. If it blows the engine - a mechanic can fix that side of things. (Maybe others can confirm compatibility - I can't.)

I connect Ignition 2-BLUE/BLACK wire and also that wire isn't correct,this wire shoot down clima system!

you don't want nor should you want to cut and place a switch on any of the wires coming from the steering column other than for start disable. what are you trying to accomplish? what is it you are trying to install? do you have a copy of the manual for us to examine to aid you in your project? i know this vehicle pretty well and any info i don't have at my fingertips, i can most probably get for you.

Ha! I interpreted flamethrowers as being ignition coils! (I think they are an older can type that still has a bling factor.) I retract my previous reply. LOL!

If you want to access the wire that supplies 12 volts to the coils, it can be found at the plug below the coil towards the front of the vehicle. On the coil side that wire should be red; the other wires are blue / YELLOW, blue/black and blue/red. These blue with stripe wires are not the ones you want to tap into. On the harness side, the 12 volt wire is BLACK/ white.
