Hello, I have recently found my old (and I Mean old lol) Alpine ERE-G160 Equilizer and I wanted to hook it up. Why? you ask? Cuz i've only used it once and it works great. The problem is I don't know where the wiring harnesses are or the Owner's Manual. I've been searching online for hours trying to find a manual or what pins go to what. Could someone tell me the pinouts please? Thank you. I've already made my own Harnesses from some old ATX PC wire.

Thank you but I don't really want to order a new harness when I've made my own I just need the pinouts so I get the wiring right and not fry the eq or my car wiring lol.

Do you have access to a digital multimeter?

Well thanx for your help. I got Alpine to send me the schematic i.e. install diagram via email. Here it is for anyone who ever searches for it instead of having to search for days.

Okay I think I figured out the pins for the 10 pin Alpine ERE-G160. It's funny that Alpine says they only used 9 pin harnesses. But this is how I think the 10 pin is set up as far as the speaker output.
I haven't tested this yet but will and post results. This would be read looking at the back of the EQ from top to bottom and left to right.
Hope this works if anyone knows plz edit it.
|PIN 1| Remote (Blu/Wht)--|PIN 2| Ground (Blk)--|PIN 3| Left Front & Rear Common (Grn/Blk)--|PIN 4| Left Rear + (Grn)--|PIN 5| Left Front + (Wht)--|PIN 6| Battery + With Fuse (Ylw)--|PIN 7| Open--|PIN 8| Right Front & Rear Common (Vlt/Blk)--|PIN 9| Right Rear + (Vlt)--|PIN 10| Right Front + (Gry)

I can't edit my previous post but here are the correct pins. Reading from left to right with back of EQ facing you.
1. Remote 2. Ground 3. FL + 4. FR+ 5. RL+
6. 12v Battery 7. Not Used 8. Left Common 9. Right Common 10. RR +
So here you go. Enjoy.
