Looking for a little help on a remote start install for 2011 Elantra. I have done numerous remote start installs in the past and I know I must be missing something. Got the remote start portion working great. The factory remotes are locked out when engine is running so you cant use it to unlock the doors. I wired up the unlock wire for my aftermarket remote start according to bulldogsecurity wiring diagram.
Here is the odd part it seems the vehicle knows its running and wont let it unlock using the wire i am on or there is some sort of factory alarm but bulldog shows no disarm wire. If i sit in car and lock doors manually I can then unlock with the addon remote. I am sure I am missing something is there some sort of wire I can pulse to just unlock drivers door, etc
Thanks for any help. Other then this all bulldog information was spot on for 2011 Elantra w/o smart key. To note US models do not need a bypass for the key as there is no key chip security on US models only.

Go to the downloads section and look for Tech Tip 1300. It shows which wires to use for the locks to work correctly with the aftermarket system. It involves the lock detection wire and a relay.
Factory Alarm Arm      pink/blk (key lock), brown (lock/unlock detection)      - and open      dash fuse box, white 24 pin plug (C), pins 23 and 6
Notes: See Tech Doc 1300 for wiring information.
Factory Alarm Disarm      green (key unlock), brown (lock/unlock detection)      both -      dash fuse box, white 24 pin plug (C), pins 16 and 6
Notes: See Tech Doc 1300 for wiring information.

As info this works for just unlocking drivers door when vehicle is remote started
To unlock the driver door only, use yellow/orange (-) at the dash fuse box, rear, white 24 pin plug (G), pin 23.
