Could someone point me in the right direction as to where I could get some information as to a specific wiring diagram for the RS1050 in my Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (gas). I have scoured the net & am hoping that this site will produce some encouraging results.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Also,
Do I need to purchase a Databus Bypass Module or a Passlock 2 module?
Which would be a good option if that is the case?
Thank you again,
MD

I did a goggle search and came up with this:
http://store.gaugemagazine.com/ProductImages/autoloc/manuals/RS1050.pdf
http://files.thehoffmangroup.com/instructions/RS1050.pdf
https://www.google.com/#q=stellar+rs1050+installation
When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Thank you, but I have the manual & the wiring directions from the RS1050. I need to know the wires inside the 2004 that must be conjoined in order to get this to work.
A 2004 Chevy Silvered Wiring Diagram. And possibly so guidance if any of you have been through the ropes & installed this remote starter before.
Thank you all again.

Good find, Mr. Smoke!!!  stellar rs1050 2004 chevy silverado -- posted image.

As for the bypass module, if you want very reliable and real easy, look for an iDatalink ADS TBSL PL bypass module.  They can be found for under $40.  Here is a link to the install guide  :  http://cdncontent2.idatalink.com/corporate/Content/Manuals/TB-PL/ADS-TBSL-PL_20110120.pdf   Type 6 is the correct diagram for your 2004 Silverado.

For vehicle wiring, here are some sources :

Here is a link to Bulldog Security :  http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp

Here is a link to Ready Remote :  http://www.readyremote.com/main.asp

Here is a link to AudioVox :  http://techservices.audiovox.com/AccessRequest.aspx    Sign-up & info is free.

Might need a relay or two for the install.   I'm sure you realize that this RS1050 is an "Add-On" type remote start system and looks for 3 (-) Pulses to initiate a remote start-up.   If you use the Factory FOB's and a Lock command to do this, you are using 8 year old, short range, transmitters.  IMHO, it would be worth the $50 to get something like an Avital 4113 or 4103 system.  More reliable, more features and much better range.

Soldering is fun!
