ford 6 disc changer harness

needed: what wires are what in this harness.

i have no power to my changer and only have one wire testing constant 12v.

to me it seems that there should be another switched 12v.

and thoughts or wiring diagram for this harness.

Check the fuses (in particular the one for the radio).  One of the wires in the harness should definitely behave like a switched wire so it's possible the fuse might be blown.

Is this the 6-disc in-dash changer?  Or is it an external changer?

this is an external changer...i have figured it out...i think...my changer has power now but it seems like it must have skipped a gear internally cause when it goes to pick up a cd it is actually in one position above the slot it should be at. And yes, i do have a switched 12v since it started working again
