Has anyone run any power wires through the firewall of a Ford Escape?  I have installed a few amps before but I can't seem to find a place to run my wires.  Should i go ahead and drill a hole?  It seems like i wouldn't have to do that though??  Also does the Escape Factory head unit have a remote turn on wire???  What is it's color?

Any help is appreciated...thanx

Kyle

I haven't run any power cables but I have done cruise controls on more than 1 and haven't had any problem going through the firewall. (The cruise control plugs are big probably between 8 and 4 gauge in size) To the left of the steering column about mid way up should be a grommet with a cable coming through it maybe the hood release cable don't remember for sure. Anyway there should be plenty of room to slice it and run some power wire through. Good luck.
