Hi guys,
I installed a Viper 790xv remote starter/alarm. I using a DEI 555L to bypass the "passlock II" system. I followed the instructions to program it and the 555L still does not work. I can start the vehicle with the key, activate the remote starter, take out the key and the vehicle will stay running. If I try to remote start the vehicle with the vehicle off it will not start.
The 555L is connected :
555L Module wires are on left side
red wire to 12volt+
Black wire (ground)-----> ORANGE / black wire
yellow wire-------> cut yellow wire towards key side in vehicle
BLACK / YELLOW wire ------> cut yellow wire away from key
blue/black wire -------> Blue status output wire from alarm module
Pink wire --------> Pink Heavy guage IGN wire of remote starter harness
I dont know why its not working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

From what I can see, your blue/black is hooked up to the wrong wire, it needs to go to the blue/black 2nd/3rd ignition ouput. The ground wire may be wrong.
