ok. here it goes

i want to install an amp... simple right?

not so...

i want to add and amp to my system but i dont have an aftermarket stereo, my system speakers are ok, but they just need that liiitle bit more bass...  i want to have an amp that turns on and off w. the factory radio... only the radio...  "wiring" car running (ignition) -> radio on -> amp on

car off (off) -> radio off-> amp off

how do i do this... i saw on installdr.com the wiring harness for the factory gm radios... it says that the yellow (position j) wire is the switched line, aka, place to put on the remote lead... right?

Yes, all you need to do is find the switched ignition wire off the OEM deck or just another ignition wire from the fuse box and wire is straight to the amplifier.
